My daughter just turned 7 months old, she passed her colic stage at 3 months (best day ever) she is still very fussy and constantly likes to be held. If I'm in a room she whines for me to hold her, if she can't see me though she stops. I constantly hid in the kitchen to get a break.
Anyways I want to start sleep training her, I have a 2 year old and I let him cry it out at 7 months, he wasn't a difficult baby and now sleeps 8pm-8am. I want to do some form of sleep training on her, but her and her brother share a room, so I was thinking of setting up a play pin in our room so I don't disturb him (I don't need 2 non sleeping babies) She currently sleeps in a swing and HAS to be swaddled, which she can't be on a flat surface cause she rolls. I don't think she needs the motion for sleep though from the swing which is good. She goes to bed at 8 and always wakes up at 8:30-8:45 randomly, so we have to put her back to sleep, from there she wakes up 4 times a night, she is breast fed and I don't get anything when I pump so I have been the one getting up all night long since she was born. She is really stubborn though, when she was 4 months I tried cry it out and she cried for an hour, slept for 10 min and did this for 4 hours. I'm hoping now that she is older it will be a bit older. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm desperate for some help!

I would do it and do it now before it gets harder. I "sleep trained" ( hate that term) mine at 5 months and you say yours was stubborn well mine cried for 2 hours straight the first night and woke every 2 hours. No its not easy, just because its hard doesn't mean you give up you have to go big or go home! If you are gonna do it then do it! Kids like ours don't just start sleeping on their own. And don't worry about the rolling over on a flat surface, thats what 7 month olds do and they will be fine they can roll themselves back if they need too! I was worried about that in the beginning too but everything was fine! I would do it now because it doesn't get easier, the other option is to NOT let your baby cry but I know people who are against me on this and they are still waking up in the night with 2 year olds!!!!!!! Just sayin. Mine sleeps all night 8 pm to 7 am no wake ups since 9 months! And when I did it at 5 months, I still went in as often as I felt was reasonable, every 3 hours and eventually twice a night until 8 months then it was once a night and by 10 months she was sleeping all night! You can do it your own way, and we did the pack n play in our room before the crib!
