Colic????

My doctor dismissed me when I said my baby seems to be fussier than I expected. Since he was around 3 weeks old, he has periods in the day where he won't stop crying no matter what we do. For the last 2 weeks, it's been from 9pm to 2 am. Every. Single. Night. He is almost 7 weeks old now.
And suddenly, in the last 3 days, he has become a very, very fussy and difficult eater. He REFUSES to take a bottle even when he is screaming and crying with hunger. He coughs and gags and spits up every drop that I manage to get into him. This goes on for quite a while before he finally takes the bottle. Tonight, he finished a 6 oz bottle. An hour later, he puked it all up everywhere. Seriously, everywhere. I am going crazy.
In his first weeks of life, he stayed awake all night from 1 am to around 8 am. So at least hes picked a better time to scream and cry so I can at least get a little sleep while it's night time.
I haven't spoken to his doctor about this yet. Does it seem like colic? Is there anything I can do? We've tried gas drops, probiotic drops, tummy rubs, chamomile tea, feeding upright, gripe water, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

That definitely sounds colicky, as we are going through much of the same. My LO is 9 weeks old and we are slowly having better days with less crying. But we have a difficult time getting him to sleep. He would only sleep 1-2 hours at a time, and recently had been staying awake from 9am to 7 or 8pm with no naps.
What did help, other than time, is having the pediatrician prescribe antacid meds, which help with the reflux and spitting up. Which in turn keeps him from waking himself up by spitting up on himself. Also, we just got a Fisher Price Rock n' Play for him to sleep in. I had heard it recommended time and time again. Last night was the first night we put him in it. He slept for 5.5 hours straight. Longest he'd slept since he was about 2 weeks old, when he randomly slept 6 hours one night (and never again after that lol). I would recommend that thing to anyone! We have a automatic rocking one, but they make one that vibrates and rocks manually. It's only been one night, but he really seems to like it and that's saying a lot for the baby who never seemed to like anything.

Since your baby is a little older than mine and your post is a couple months old, I'd be interested to know if your situation has improved. I hope so!

I have been using babies magic tea to soothe my colicky baby who wasn't settling from any product and prescription. The tea did great and finally the baby got relieved from colic.
