I know that's right!! LOL And with Abby teething, she is literally pooping between 5-9 times a day, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot, but it doesn't matter, you have to get it off her butt right away or the acid in it burns her.
Oh, funny story... the other day I was letting her "air out" as suggested and she was sitting playing, no problems right. Well she got hungry so I put her in her bumbo and went and got her food. Well, stupid me forgot (how could I forget with Abby I don't know), that when she eats there's like a trigger in her brain to poop to clear out more room for food or something. Well, we were half way through eating when she makes this funny face and I start smelling this HORRIBLE smell and she starts squirming all over the place. I still didn't put 2 & 2 together until she put her hand in her lap and pulls in out covered in POO!! OMG I almost died! I yelled for Steven to come and help me and we ended up taking her upstairs to our bathroom, bumbo and all, and putting her in the bathtub and running water over her to get the poop out and then taking her out and letting her sit in the bathtub and bathing her off. It was so gross!! It smelled like something died. But I tell you one thing, it didn't sit on her butt that time!!

SPEAKING of poopy diapers.... I couldnt figure out why Brooklyn woke up randomly at 4:00am lastnight...rolling around, sounding restless. Then i smelled a smell..... So i went to check her and she was on her tummy with poop coming out of the sides of her diaper and all in the crib!!! omg... NOT what i wanted to be dealing with at 4am, ill tell ya. Then i changed her, the bedding.... And she started cooing and "mamamama" 'ing me. Thinking it was play time!!! Thats a first for her, shes not done that yet. She generally doesnt poop at night.

Craig doesn't have any issues with changing poop. Just having to wash out her privates is is isssue He says its just not ok for him to do that. Goofy man, he didn't like having to clean in crevases of the other two either. And as far as barf goes, daddy takes care of that for the big kids and mine I am a weiney, I can't hack it I start puking cleaning it up. Boogers don't bother me untill they are the never ending string of snot, then I gag. Pam you have to be ok with gross stuff being a resp. therapist. I was considering going into that field since Mason was preemie and has asthma I got a bunch of experience and have become a pro at hearing lung sounds and knowing when its time for treatment. I got so good at it the Doc doesn't require him to come in anymore, I call and say I need Predisolone and they call it in. However, after long thought, the first time someone barfed snot on me I would be done for, so I chose the next best thing and that was psychology. Here I have less likely of a chance of bodily fluids spewing at me.

Chariti...when Mya gets bad colds, since she was little she gets "cold induced asthma" and always has to take prednisone too. Ever since she was little. For some reason all colds go directly into her lungs. Even if its not a bad one, she'll be up coughing all night. Weird huh?

Levi got bronchiolitis recently...we were in the hospital on thanksgiving. He was on prednisolone (sp?) and albuterol breathing treatments. Just when we thought he was getting better, he's all snotty again and running a low fever. We went to the doc and have started the breathing treatments again. Too bad bc they wreck his sleeping and makes him very fussy. I'm very concerned that all of his colds will go to his chest, too. I'm not sure why he's getting sick again before he even totally got over the first illness.... He wasn't a preemie-8 lb 9oz.

Some babies just get like that. Mya wasnt a preemie either, never exposed to cigarette smoke (neither of us smoke)none of that. But ever since she was little , we've had to deal with this cold induced asthma. It sucks. When most kids just get a cold, and get over it...its a miserable ordeal in our house. It seems like shes always sick. If she gets a cold i h ave to prop her up at night because you literally can hear the mucous sitting in her lungs, and she chokes on it and starts coughing. She cant take any of those mucinex kinda things or anything because it makes it worse and she'll choke so bad she cant breathe.

Ooohhh, Abby's done that a couple of times like right before she's woke up. Then she poops and squishes it all around (gross) and it gets every where. I think those are the poops that smell the worse.

Mason has missed a week of school every winter because he catches a cold and next thing you know we are doing treatments every four hours and taking predisolone and alternating motrin and tylenol because he spikes a huge temp. It sucks having an asthmatic kid, I become over concerned everytime he gets a cold. Taylor gets upset because I monitor his o close, so now I have to get very concerned when she coughs or she claims I don't love her.

lol. Mya does the same thing "Youre not taking care of me mommy" if i even LOOK at Brooklyn.
Its the same for us, i hate her starting preschool this year, because its been a constant battle. A simple cold turns into spiking fevers and her being REALLY sick. She'll get black circles under her eyes and not sleep....its awful

Thanks goodness Bryan doesn't have issues with poopy diapers. He never had issues with cleaning Lauryn either. He still will give her a bath sometimes. He's never felt strange about that and I know some men do.....OK THEIR THE DADDY!!!! Daddy's do that stuff too! Bryan's a big help when he's home! Audrey
