Mallory is 8 weeks old and she did the exact same thing! We started putting the carseat in her crib so she could get use to the veiw about 2 weeks ago. Then we took it out and put her in the crib on her changing pad (she always falls asleep on it so i thought it was worth a shot). She still wakes up 4-5 times a night but she doesn't scream every time we go near her bed now! I am going to start trying to get her to take naps in it today I think, althought they are few and far between. It's alot easier to deal with having to hold her all day and listen to her screamng now that i only have to share my bed with my husband and my dog and i get that little bit of piece. i hope you find what works for you soon. I know it really helpd me extend my patience.
Those first few nights are rough though, but don't get discouraged.

Do what you think is right, we were lucky with Payton he wanted to be in his own space, dont let your poor little one cry it out, its hard enough dealing with colic sleep training will come

Yes...in her exact words, she wants to be "glamorous" You should see some of her videos i have on my myspace "videos" shes hilarious. Shes constantly putting on "shows" and singing and dancing... Her favorite movie from the time she was about a year old is Annie. She knows every word and every song from that musical. Seriously.... She runs around with brooms and doing somersaults in my house singing "Its a hard knock LIFE for US!!! its a hard knock life for USSSSSS!!!"

Yeah... she's gonna have to marry rich... and understanding!! LOL That or she'll be discovered at a young age and she can support you and your husband and let you live the life of luxury in which you should become accustomed. Could happen right??

Thats what i'm hoping....I'm like "keep watching those Hannah Montana videos Mya!!!" Seriously...Hannah Montana is supposed to be the #1 concert, and hardest to get tickets right now. That girl is set. Mya swears up and down that shes going to be the next "American Idol" ....She doesnt seem to care that you have to be a tad older than 3 1/2 to do so I'm serious. Thats all shes ever doing is running around with a fake microphone, singing, dancing...being obnoxious. Hopefully Mya will take care of her 'ole mommy and daddy one day If she ever becomes rich one day she better remember who changed all her poppy diapers!!!!!!!!!!

I figure with 5 kids, one of them is bound to be half way "well-off" or at least marry well so may be they can support us. My luck they'll all hate us and never talk to us when they get older... hhmmm... maybe that's not such a bad thing... no supporting them when they get older, no college funds, no expensive weddings, Lord knows there will be plenty of those... I'll have to try harder to have them "hate" me from now on.
