Hi! I have been using Colic Calm for my very Gassy baby for about a week now, He is also on Nutramigen Formula, It has been working really well to relieve pain and bloating symptoms but I have also notice that he has been pooping a lot more frequently like between 5 and 8 times per day!!! He is 7 weeks old. Has anyone else experienced this with this product? I am hearing more people say it is constipating their babies instead of making their stools more loose? The BM's seem to be normal in consistency. He has been waking up more frequently during the night than ever due to the fact that he has to poop! At least it is coming out though! Should i try give him less than the full dose at one time?

I have a 3 1/2 month old, and am getting tired and rather worried about her spitting up! Switched formula from similac advanced to goodstart, then to enfamil nutramigen and no spit up with that, then had to switch back to reg goodstart, and so dr wanted me to try tagament, liquid form and that mess didnt work neither ! because of WIC now, they have put her on the green goodstart and she is STILL spitting up, my daughter has never been a fussy baby, and tonight she has been on the rather fussy side...ive given her gas drops, and shes still spitting up, i am a first time mom and im just kinda worried, any help would be greatly appreciated:]

I just started trying Colic Calm for my daughter 10 weeks old who has some screaming fits that seem to be gas related and it does seem to help her calm down and relax and release the gas easier. If you read everything on the site it does tell you that they use a vegetable charcoal in the product which is why it is black and stains. They say to try oxyclean or something like that to get the stain out or just prevent from the beginning by using a cloth or paper towel or something. I got mine at CVS pharmacy locally so I didn't have to order online, but it does seem better so far.

our daughter is almost 4 months old and in the last 2 - 3 months hasn't gone ONE day without spitting up 5+ times. We've tried just about everything short of surgery when wifey's research lead her to "colic calm?" so i jumped into the research to look for "unbiased" reviews and stumbled here.
my question is: i've read colic calm is good but some people recommend Boiron Cocyntal and last i heard something about gripe water?
which would be the best? and i'd prefer something i can easily pick up, i don't like seeing my daughter in pain and thus don't want to wait for an order to be mailed.

I just tried colic calm for my 6 weeks old for her colic and it seems to work well so far. I only tried half the dosage as instructed before her feed. She is sleeping sound and better than previous nights. Although the color is dark, for what it has done, it is definitely worth it.

Hi. Colic Calm notes, in no uncertain terms, that it is 100% natural. I purchased the product on this basis, and was disappointed to read that it in fact contains Potassium Benzoate. In the EU, this ingredient is not recommended for consumption by children. Please find an alternative product, as you may be harming your children!

Hi there--thanks for all the great responses about Colic Calm. I used it for my daughter's colic, and loved it so much that I am now a freelance writer for the company> I wanted to pipe in about two things: 1) testimonials: These ARE NOT paid. I interview parents for the One Mom's Story piece on the Colic Calm blog, and these parents are PASSIONATE about how Colic Calm saved their sanity. As you all know, colic is terrible, and if you have found something that helps, you want to share it so others don't go thru the same thing. Here's that link: noLinks://journal.coliccalm.com/category/one-moms-story/
2) the liquid being black: this isn't dye, it's a part of the natural ingredients. I found that if I soaked the piece of clothing in Oxiclean, it removed it. You can find a story on that here: noLinks://journal.coliccalm.com/2010/05/20/removing-those-stains/

I just got this product and was sceptical. turns out it works pretty well. now its just a matter of putting my baby back to sleep after hes been woken up by gas and is wide awake. just make sure to have rags that can get stained so you can clean their mouth off with that.

Has anyone used Colic-Ease with good results? My 7 week old daughter is very colicky. I have tried gas drops and Mommy's Bliss Gripe Water with no relief. I hesitate to use Colic Calm because of the charcoal. I have read that it is not safe to give to kids under the age of 3 years. It can decrease nutrition absorption, therefore should not be used for more than 2-3 days for anyone.
