So apparently I am a germ factory, I am sick again, i was just sick in the summer when P was 2 mos old and now again luckly for me I can take red medicine, however they make me drowsy... not good for a high needs baby... sorry kid I want to watch the view...HA HA not happening. So yesterday P napped like a dream, 2.5 hrs and 2 hrs and a cat nap in the snugglie, slept like a log except his breathing monitor went off twice 1st at 2 am then I couldnt get back to sleep until 4 then again at 530 so I just pulled him in bed with me, then we slept until 745 great, so hes tired and I figure hes going to have a great nap, however hes been up there for an hour and woke back up after 20 mins screaming bc hes still tired, i think now hes sleeping again hopefully. They never nap when you need them too

isn't that the truth. Abby is wide awake right now and I know she is sleepy. you can see it in her eyes, but she is fighting it SO bad. I figure I'll just plop her in her bed here shortly and let her cry it out!! bad mommy...

Olivia will not get any sleep today. We are watching my nephew, hes 1 and a half and gets so loud and rambunctious(sp) that she never sleeps. My Fridays SUCK! Plus my husband is on his way to Calgary over night so when she is overtired and crabby I am on my own. I don't want him to go the roads are gonna be icky and he works for an airplane repair company but they can't fly the parts because there is no direct flight from there to here or vise versa so driving for twelve hours makes more sense. I guess huge overtime for christmas shopping but I like my sanity better.

Pam i dont think your a bad mommy P goes to bed at the same time every day (give or take) and has to sleep for at least 2 hours so I think I win the bad mommy of the year award. but i know that kid and if he doesnt sleep there will be h e double hockey sticks to pay later for me, he only cried for 20 mins well it was more of a whine and hes been asleep ever since. Hes only ready to wake up when hes up and talking to his animals if hes crying hes flipped himself and woke himself up and needs more sleep

No I haven't but I am going to have to now. I have an alarm clock that has white noise settings on it, I will try it in a little bit for her morning nap and see if it helps. Thanks.

Man I wish Abby liked white noise. All it does is piss her off. The closest thing we have to a white noise in our room is an air purifier and that took her FOREVER to get used to, but she had to since daddy is severely allergic to dust, dust mites and their poop! So she had no choice. She just simply does not like noise while she is sleeping (which sucks since daddy snores really bad).

when we ran away to grandmas during the worst of it, she took him for a night and he slept in her bed, and she snores like a bear and he has never slept so soundly in his life

You know it's funny, I think she can handle his snoring, but not other noises, i.e., the kids screaming (but hell, who can), outside noises if they are to loud. I guess she has just gotten used to his noises that maybe (?) it's a comfort noise to her?? I don't know, but that is one noise that doesn't seem to totally bother her, she will just wiggle around in her bed a lot if it gets to loud.
