I've heard Dr. Brown's Bottles mentioned a lot, which makes me suspicious that they are maybe paying people for positive reviews. Has anyone tried them and are they really any different than regular bottles?

Yes, we've tried them and the anti burp technology seems to help keep air bubbles out. Each bottle comes with many parts which makes assembly a bit complicated. But for my voracious eater, they seem to work as well as any other bottle. She's 4 months old now and has trouble taking from any bottle.

I agree with the many parts. Dr. Brown bottles come with 2 inside pieces to help with the air bubbles. My now 7 month old has been using them since we had to put her on formula when she was 3 months. After trying 3 different bottles before she definitely had less gas with dr browns. they also now come in pink.

I used them on both children, maybe a little less gas than other bottles, but no miracle bottle, that is for sure. But way better than a plain bottle.

We tried Dr. Brown's bottles and found them somewhat effective, our sons colic did decrease. The only downsides we had were, one, they are quite expensive compared to other bottles and two, they are difficult to clean. As mentioned already, there are numerous parts to these bottles and you have to be very careful in cleaning them. They are quite 'fiddly' to clean properly.
One other thing, no matter how tight/loose we did the caps, they would always leak a little bit. Did anyone else have that issue?
