Hey all, I have a 9 month old who still doesn't sleep through the night, was up 3 x last night. mostly just up once a night, but im working full time now and im so exhausted, I cant seem to ever get any energy back. Is it normal to just be exhausted with a small child/baby as a working mom or does it ever get better for you moms with kids over 3-4 years of age?

I don't have kids over 3 to 4 years and maybe a lot of people on here don't, I dunno but that might explain your lack of responses. I have a lot of friends with children around that age, and from watching them, it does get a lot easier. Once they start doing things for themselves, and sleeping more.

Hang in there. You're doing great plus working and raising a small child can be very trying but you're doing it nonetheless. My 1 year old is sleeping pretty good but its never a sure thing. Most nights she sleeps through the night but I can never get too comfortable because you never know when they'll have a bad night for whatever reason. Raising these little guys is like riding the waves and you just gotta go with it whatever it is and know that once you find a solution to one problem there will be another but you gotta learn to laugh at it because it really is hysterical. Irritating, but hysterical. I'm sure it'll get better, and you'll get better at it. Every age seems to have their challenges, at least I believe sleep gets better, so just keep on!

This truly goes to show how strong, resilient, steadfast, devoted, caring and amazing mommies are! We do and do and do for our LOs and when we've done all we can, we do some more!
You're a working mommy to a colicky baby?!? My goodness, mama; god bless.
Everyone tells me it'll get better, but I don't see an end in sight. I watched my son struggle in the NICU as he was born at 27 weeks gestation due to a medical error. Now that he has colic, it seems the punches are never-ending.
Please remind yourself that you can, will, and are doing this! I know that after being a nicu mommy, all that adversity made me stronger and not sweat the small stuff. Colic is not small by any means, but it's not harmful to our children.
