I was SUPPOSED to go christmas shopping today. I am SOOOOO BUMMED OUT. We've been planning on going shopping today...driving an hour and a half away to a huge shopping area...after Mya got out of school. Shes been counting down the days. OF COURSE...a storm freakin hits..and they are recommending not driving on the roads. Huge gusts of wind (on curvy narrow mountain roads....that drop hundreds of feet off cliffs into the ocean...) Wind and rain...so strong you can't drive properly. I am so bummed out. I was so excited to go shopping. I dont know how to break it to Mya...shes expecting me to pick her up in 45 mins from school and go straight to shopping. Shes going to be SOOOOO UPSET.

I'm going to go shopping this weekend with the hubby. I plan on spending lots of his money and buying myself something. You know what he told me last night? I have been telling him that there is a set of 3 crosses at this store that I want, but he doesn't know where the store is, so he told me to just go buy them and to give them to him and he will wrap them and put his name on them. I was like UUUGGGHHH!!! Are you kidding me? Well, at least I know I will get what I want!!

Pam dont feel bad i price shopped for my own gift and then ordered it online... but its true at least it will be what you want.... one year i told my husband that i wanted a coat and i showed him the exact one i wanted... so he goes and gets a different coat.. a grandma coat... my mom wouldnt even wear it... i just figure that its easier then i dont have to stand in line and return it

My husband bought a 40" flat screen tv so I told him I wanted a new watch. Now granted this watch cost $370 and I normally would NEVER ask for something that expensive, but this tv cost $1200. So I figured if he could buy that, he could buy me the watch. right... I don't think it will happen.

the problem is we just don't charge things... we pay cash for EVERYTHING. even our $2600 vacation we paid cash for. d**n this no credit card marriage! Not that we don't have the cash, I'm just extremely cheap.

the only c.c we have is in my name and it was from b4 we got married and the only thing on it is the charge I put on it from my knee surgery. I had to pay for my knee surgery up front and an MRI and other stuff- P.T., etc., and all that total was like $4000 and the only way to do it was to put it on the card. SSOOOO, I am STILL paying it off and need ANOTHER knee surgery... same knee. Figures.

if its bought online i just use my debit card. I tend not to use checks either...except for specific bills. (Rent mainly) I prefer using cash...its a surefire way to not go hog wild and end up in debt.
