Has anyone noticed a difference in gas with liquid vs. powder formula? And also, I turned on the vacuum cleaner and it seemed to get him to at least close his eyes for a little bit. Has anyone tried the vacuum cleaner CD? Trying ANYTHING out of desperation as I am sure all of you are!

Queenie, there was no difference for our son between liquid and powder formula, so we went with the less expensive powder. And he was afraid of the vacuum cleaner, but we found a CD of nursery songs with a very loud, strong track of a heartbeat laid over the music, which seems to work very well in calming him, even now as an older child. We found a twenty dollar white noise generator at Bed, Bath and Beyond which offers several different sounds (rainfall, ocean, heartbeat, "static" and so on), and he loves it. Hope this helps and you find something soon.
*big hugs* Rebecca

I see that she doesn't fight as much during feeding with the ready to feed. Not sure why but since you don't shake it as much there are less bubbles.
