My daughter was very colicky and outgrew it around 3-4 months. She's 10 1/2 months old now. I feel like when she came out of that initial horrible colic, there were a lot of "broken pieces" that had to be dealt with, and sleep was on the top of that list, since I had basically been doing anything necessary to get her (and the rest of our family, except me) to fall asleep & stay asleep. We sleep-trained her at about 5 months old. It was brutal. The first night she cried over an hour, and woke up once. The next night, much improved. Now she is sleeping through the night. Still working on early morning wake ups (a problem that is driving me crazy-if anyone has any suggestions, do tell!) and naptime...she goes to sleep fine at naptime, but doesn't stay asleep (also driving me crazy). The whole experience has really made me doubt my abilities to know/understand this child. I know eventually, she'll be able to at least TALK to me about what she's feeling, but right now, I'm desperate for some level of "intuitive" connection with her (like I have always felt for my older daughter).

Kate? How is your baby/ toddler sleeping now? Wish I would have read this in Jun 2013 as I had a 5 month old that I also started "sleep training" ( hate that term sorry ). She cried for 2 hours straight the first night. I was so over the crying It didn't bug me. The sleep you described sounded like my baby almost exactly. She is such a good sleeper now. Goes to bed ( in her crib and placed in there awake) at about 8pm every night and wakes at fish every morning. Usually no waking at night unless something is wrong. Her naps are usually once a day for an hour or so, not gonna complain about the naps since the night is so great!

My baby has bad colic and the only thing that soothed her was “babies’ magic tea”. Was worth it for sure and worked wonders. A friend of mine told me to do it and I am thankful to her for the advice.

My one month old baby has Colic. She will normally start crying uncontrollably from 4pm-8pm. I have tried EVERYTHING (gripe water, Mylicon etc) nothing worked. I saw baby colic tea and gave it a shot. Bottom line is it works. About 10 minutes after first dose baby will calm and fall asleep. It’s not a cure by any means but it helps for sure. I use this and life has gotten better. If you are struggling with a Colic baby you would be nuts not to give this stuff a try

babies improve their digestive systems enough by the end of one year to cope with such issues. as everyone is different, some baby take a bit longer to get aligned with digesting foods. however there are certain things that found to be effective coping up with babies stomach problems. I suggest giving a glimpse over an herbal formula "babies magic tea" by secretsoftea.com. such an astronomical cure for babies with all and all goods only, for being herbal.
