A couple people have asked me about sharing photos with other members.
Our new host can allow it but they charge for space to host the photos ($2/20mb/month). It would be very cheap to start but could add up over time (we plan to keep running this forum for a long long time).
You can share pictures for free by using a 3rd party hosting service. I use shutterfly to share pictures with my kids' grandparents. They don't charge for space and it is free to get an account. noLinks://www.shutterfly.com
Then once you get an account you can just post a link to your album on the forum (or email it to people if you wish).
Places like shutterfly make money by showing ads on their site or by charging people who want to buy printouts (something like $0.20/print). Using it as a way to share photos with people online is free and easy.
I'll post this info to the forum so everyone can see what I said about shutterfly.
I will also post a reply with a shutterfly album so that you can see what it would look like.

I just shared this photo using shutterfly: noLinks://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AcOXLlm5atmLxw¬ag=1 These are my 2 boys (the one on the left was the colicky baby). He was colicky from 1 - 12 months. We survived and now he is a well adjusted, easily potty trained, happy, healthy 4yr old It isn't as good as I wanted it to be. I wanted to be able to imbed the photo in this post so you didn't have to click a link to see it. I will spend some time this week and see if I can find a better free photo sharing service to recommend for use here.

Oh gosh, that is so cool I was always wondering who created this site...or who was in charge of if or whatever. I know if this site hadn't been here when my daughter was born i wouldnt have made it thru the last almost 7 months. Being on colicky baby number 2, and my second having colic EXTREMELY bad....was rough. I literally was on this site from 2 weeks old till now.... I'm glad to see your son is a well adjusted happy kid My 3 1/2 year put us thru a hard time, being first time parents. She still is a lot of work, but mainly because shes a smart, full of energy kid For now I use photobucket. I know there are a few other ones out there that some of the ladies use. (Flikr for example) Its fairly easy to post the link on here too.... This site seems to be a lot easier to use than the last one, as far as posting links goes? Before i know you werent able to post links....well.....you were, but it didnt put the full link, or highlight it.

Your boys are beautiful. Congratulations on surviving colic but I'm sorry you had to go through it for a year. Thank you for puting together this site, it is giving much needed support to many parents including myself.

It seems that some (or all) of you have already figured out how to use PhotBucket to share photos:
noLinks://photobucket.com/
They let you embed photos in pages here and link to them also. I haven't used it myself but I have noticed that someone here is using it to embed photos (so we know there is a way).
