I don't know. David is the same age and he's been having a few sthingyfuls of rice cereal a day since about 4-4.5 months. We added oat cereal to his repertoire a few weeks ago. He never seemed to be too keen on either and never wanted more than a few sthingyfuls at a time. A few days ago, I gave him some applesauce with oat cereal, and he LOVED it. Since then I've been trying to do 2 "meals" of either oat or rice cereal plus applesauce. He still doesn't eat a lot of solids though. It took him 3 days to finish one of those tiny baby applesauce jars. He still seems to want milk or formula most of the time.

I guess for now I'll continue what we're doing...I just hope I'm not overfeeding him though! He is sleeping longer at night, so to me that means he's satisfied. Cute dogs girls! Audrey

I want a puppy, we can't have any cuz my landlord is EVIL!!!!! So to the topic at hand, I give livvy a jar of first food with oatmeal mixed in for breakfast, she nurses or has a bottle in between. Lunch is around 12:30 and she eats a jar of 1st foods no cereal, she drinks a little from her cup and goes down for her nap. She wakes up and has either a bottle or nurses, dinner is around 5 or 6, she eats a jar of second foods vegggies and a part of 1st foods fruit ( just because they are smaller so less waste) Then around 8 or so she nurses or will have a 4 ounce bottle and go down for the night until around 7 or 8 in the morning. Olivia is almost 6 monthes old but she has been on solids for awhile, she had cereal at about 2 and a half months.
