OK, I'm afraid yo even say this out loud for fear of jinxing myself, but we have had 4 FULL days of not even one screaming fit! I know she's only 10 weeks old but could we possibly be nearing the end of the madness? I've never heard of colic ending this soon and I am so scared I'm getting my hopes up for nothing. She's still extremely needy and wants to be held constantly, but not in one instance has she cried for no obvious reason. Did anyone Else's baby act this way and then go back to their old ways? Could this just be a few good days. It's so crazy, like someone just flipped a switch, it wasn't gradual be extremely sudden. I won't hold my breath b/c I am still very skeptical (I am keeping my fingers crossed though)!

It could be the either, I think. Some people say colic ended suddenly, but it was more gradual in my case. Levi would have a few good days followed by a few bad days and gradually he just stopped crying for no reason at all. (He still cries easily, but at least now it seems that there is a reason for it). He did START improving around 9 or 10 weeks, though. I really wish you the best, though and I hope she continues to be colic free from now on!!!! In any case, at least you are seeing some great improvement so you know that good things are to come!

It could be either. My oldest daughter was done with her colic at 2 1/2 months...gone completely FOR SURE by 3 months. Brooklyn was more like 4 1/2 - 5 months.

My daughter is almost 10 weeks too and her colic sort of disappeared around 8 weeks. I'm afraid to say it out loud too as I fear jinxing myself. She is still fussy quite a bit, but the hours of endless screaming are gone. She really seems to get easier every day.

It's possible! (And I hope it is the case for you!) David started showing some improvement with sleep as early as 6 weeks. And that in turn made him a little less cranky. He was still a fussy baby for a while after, but not quite as bad. By the 3 month mark, he was much better, and at 4 months he was a happy, giggly baby. He still seems to have issues with gas though, even as we're approaching 6 months. But he is nothing like what he used to be in terms of fussiness. Now if he cries it's usually because he's hungry, over-tired (although sometimes he'll fall asleep without crying), has a 'trapped burp,' or has a dirty diaper. He does also get fussy if he's doing one activity for too long. But "too long" is more like 20+ minutes, compared to the 5 it used to be.

For us, colic ended as if someone flipped a switch, though nowhere near as early as with your baby. Now, once the switch was flipped, he continued to be a "high needs" baby, but that's his nature, I think, and we'll be paid back when he's a toddler, if Dr. Sears is to believed (I think he is, imho). Here's hoping the colic switch has flipped for you! *big hugs*
