Does anyone else feel like they are in a WWF match with their baby....just to get them dressed, or diaper changed?? Seriously.... I have full-on wrestling matches with Brooklyn. Especially since shes so big! I'll be mid diaper change, and she'll just roll away. Her big 'ole butt in the air and all. I'm contantly flipping her and grabbing a leg, or an arm.... argh. She doesnt want to sit still!!!

YES! I feel like I've fought a battle just after getting him to bed every night! From bathing him to getting that final diaper on to putting the jammies on to finishing the bottle and getting up all the burps to subsequently having to nurse or pat his back until he falls asleep...and then transferring him to his crib once he's finally fallen asleep...yikes! Diaper changes are getting particularly more difficult lately.

Yeah, the bigger he gets, the more it feels like I'm landing a marlin, not dressing a baby. My deltoids are *really* sore lately, and it's getting physically more difficult to manage. Fortunately, he's so independent in spirit, he'll be more than happy to be able to do all this by himself, so if I can just keep popping the ibuprofen 'til he's there, we'll be good.

No joke. My back is in pain. I have a BAD habit of using my back to lift everything....Instead of "bending at the knees". She is quite a lot to lug around at 21 lbs.... The other day, Mya had fallen and hurt herself at the grocery store and needed loving.....and Brooklyn obviously can't walk yet, so I left the grocery store holding Brooklyn (21 lbs) on one hip with a grocery bag on that arm....and Mya on the other hip (at 30+ lbs). Of course they were just giggling all the while thinking it was great..... I'm going to be a crippled old lady, sooner than I thought at this rate!!!

At the rate Abby is going, she will be walking before she is a year, potty trained before 2, and graduated high school before 5! She is such an independent little fart. She wants to do everything on her own but she can't yet and it pisses her off.

Oh goodness, Garren too! He gets so freakin mad that he can't crawl yet. He screams like a girl when he's on his belly and can't get away! It is so funny! His therapist says to let him scream because eventually he'll get mad enough to get up and go! I do dread the day he starts to crawl....hopefully I'll get real skinny lol!!!!

Today, my wonderful little girl decided to pull off some Christmas decorations off a shelf (granted my fault because they had something hanging down the side she grabbed onto) and broke some snowmen that I have had for 10 years and some mosaic candle holders I've had for just as long. Of course, I WAS NOT HERE, I was at Walmart and Steven was supposed to be watching her, yet she still managed to get to it and pull it down... hhhhmmm... can we say someone wasn't watching her?? So when I got home the girls run to me and tell me Abby broke my stuff and I see this huge mess all over the place. Steven starts to apologize after I am cleaning it up and I just say, "It's okay, it's just stuff I can't replace." Yes, I made him feel bad, he should have been watching her. butthole.
