I figure I would post when my daughter was finally over the colic. I have been leery of posting for fear it would jinx things but the screaming matches for hours are basically over. Now she cries ten or fifteen minutes if that much and this is when her needs are not met. She is quite fussy but I can live with that. I mostly posted for those who are going through it and spend hours searching for answers as to when it will end. I know I have been there. True colic ended right around four months for us. I can even take her in the car on most occasions and she will usually not scream bloody murder now. So colic does end. I never thought it would but it really is on its way out.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay, you made it!!! There IS a god!! lol Yah, that seems to be a running theme here, even after the colic, there is still fussiness. Brooklyn is almost 8 months and still likes her demands met quickly. She knows what she wants and she wants it NOW. But thats alright I'll take that over colic anyday. Shes a girl on a mission, with that kind of determination I'm sure she'll be successful in her life I'm so happy for you!! Thanks for showing other mommies that its possible to make it thru to the other side of the colic fence.

WOOHOO!! Goodbye ugly colic trolls... hello fussy baby butts!! LOL But isn't it nice to just see the difference it makes to have the colic go away and a new baby emerge? They just become these whole new beings... funny, WAY to energetic, fussy, demanding, motivated, LOVING... babies. Abby is 8 1/2 months and we have officially been over colic since 5 months (she was a late colic bloomer to get over it- I think she liked it), but since then, a personality all her own has emerged and she has become such a wonderful little person. Demanding and still high needs, but awesome nonetheless. Can't imagine life without her. Congrats on the end, welcome to a whole new beginning!! Pam

Yay! Congrats on making it through that very tough, evil crap they call colic! Garren was about 4 1/2 months when we felt it finally ended and we turned a corner. He too however, is still very fussy at times and demanding. Usually though I can pretty much tell what it is he is needing, whether it be a nap or a bottle, whatever! He sure is smiling a laughing so much more than I EVER thought he would. Again Congrats to you guys....it's a big hurdle but you made it!!!! Audrey

Congrats! My little one is finally over the endless screaming now too. She is still fussy too, but I will take it any day as well. She has become a great night sleeper too (terrible during the day though), so at least I am rested in the morning to deal with her fussiness. It truly is like sun coming out after a horrible storm, isn't it!

since my baby is currently screaming her head off (in the arms of my mother who is giving me a break), I am really happy to read this post, and hang on to the hope of having a better life with my little one.
