Help ! I am a first time mom and I am definitely exhausted. My baby is 6 weeks old and I feel like he cries at every walking moment ! I have tried everything. I am exclusively breast feeding so I have changed my diet to non dairy, gripe water doesn't work. The only time he doesn't cry is while feeding which he does every 2 hours. He has a great appetite and is putting on weight very fast, almost a pound a week ! I just am so tired from trying to calm him down all day and night and just needed some encouragement or words of advice . Thanks

Hang in there, thats when he cried the most with me and at 12 weeks I think hes turning a corner. We just had to hold him, rock him, and give him is paci for him to calm down, even swaddle him with real bad fits. Stroller rides also made him happy, other then that he cried too, I know its so draining and you feel trapped in a re-occuring movie that never ends, but it will. Like literally overnigt it started getting better little by little. I still think we have a high needs baby that is happies held, he rarely likes being in devices.

Sounds like he's getting too much foremilk!! I did a total elimination diet which consisted of chicken, greens and potatoes but that still didn't help my little one. As soon as I started pumping until my breast were soft and using the smallest breast, I noticed a big improvement in my baby's behavior.

Did your lo's cry all day? Mine has cried since he was 2 days old. While the all day screaming has stopped, I think he is high needs. He is hardly ever happy:/

She fussed all day and cried this painful shrieking cry, starting after 11 days. She just turned 11 weeks and I've finally noticed a turn around...after taking measures to reduce my foremilk imbalance. Is your LO pooping green stools? Spitting up a lot? Choke while feeding? These are just a few symptoms. Google foremilk imbalance for the rest of the symptoms. And please know it does get better! This is my 2nd fussy baby and my first has turned out to be a great kid!
