Tamara, I keep a bottle of tequila around just for that! The next 18 years... I don't know... I don't think there is a pill strong enough for what I will need! Aliki, that is pretty awesome about your job. I don't think I have ever heard of that. And as far as the daycare thing, they usually wind up acting better for others than they do us. Sneaky little turkeys!!

yeah, it's an animation job..I am basically a cartloonist I know what you mean..one time my aunt came over after I had a particularly horrid morning with Ruby...Ruby was a perfect angel, and my aunt said I was being too sensitive, and that all babies cried...as soon as she left, she started wailing again! Of course, I called my aunt and left her a voicemail so she could see I wasn't lying!

I have actually never been to either place. I would love to go but with 5 kids I would have to take out a freaking loan for about $20k just to take my family on vacation!! That's why we keep it simple... go to the park, eat PBJ sandwiches. Kids don't know the difference!!

Mya has been there twice....We are going next year too. Disneyworld is AMAZING. We were there for like 9 days...and we still didn't even see HALF of everything we wanted to see. Then, when we went this year, Brooklyn was still SUPER SUPER colicky (we werent going to miss our vacation though, we only see his family once a year...didnt want to miss it...so we went balls out and took a risk of flying with a colicky baby) it was ROUGH....we didnt do nearly any of the stuff or have as much fun as the year before....but that was to be expected. This next summer will be fun though!!!

Ask Pam...i was SOOOOO nervous to go. But I couldnt really back out of it...we go see my husbands daughter (who is 11) every year...I didnt want to let her down. It was rough....lots of tears ALL around!!! The plane was much easier than I'd thought, she slept most the way, because its like a giant white noise machine. But being in Orlando, in dead summer time....omg. With a colicky baby who is fussy anyways, then add HEAT to the mix. I think I had like....10 mental breakdowns. Oh well, it made for some memorable pics though! If i could go thru that, I told myself i can do anything!!!

Oh man, I remember we had to convince you to actually go- good, bad or not. You so did not want to take Brooklyn b/c of the colic. But like you said, you survived. And you came back with all of your hair!!

I know, remember??? omg, that was craziness. The ironic part of it all, is one of the biggest meltdowns we had, was MYA. After an 8 hour flight (with layovers) being on a plane all day...a long week.....Mya finally LOST it when we arrived back in Portland at the airport. She fell and hit her head while we were trying to lug a screaming baby, and all our luggage...and we had no free hands to pick her up, so she started screaming...and throwing a tantrum. omg, it was horrible. People were staring at us and everything. Then our shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport didnt show up for an hour...as we were sitting hungry and tired outside the airport at like... 1am. It was miserable. BUT...like i said, Mya had a blast. My in laws took her most the time ...so she wouldnt miss out on anything. Honestly...i only hung out at the parks a few hours a day...then stayed at the hotel the rest of the time with Brooklyn. It was just too hot for her. My husband and I took turns taking Mya to parks. I got to take her...Just the two of us to the Magic Kingdom for the day. We braved all the hot weather and watched all the shows, and went on rides together and ate ice cream. It was a blast.
